so i have decided to upgrade to a kinetik hc 800 "cap killer", so they say. my question is this... on the diagram for install , they show the general conection, pos and neg to battery and to amp, but they do not show the amp ground to the frame(car body), is this right? well anywhow, hope everone is havin a great march ,an all is good. keep on bumpin!!!!!THINK

run a fat battery line to the cap killer (4 gauge+) with 150A fuses under the hood and right at the cap. ground it to the chassis. then, run the power for your amp off of the cap. you can ground the amp to the chassis or to the cap, doesn't matter. much cleaner if you run power and ground from the cap, though.
check out an isolator in this application, too.

the Kinetik HC800 is an actuall battery, not a capacitor if my memory serves me correct.
Shouldnt really matter that much but I suggest running the grnd straight to the Hc800 since its right there. Make sure its wired up correctly from the batt.
