I have 2 kicker CVR DVC 4 Ohm subs and i need an amp. can someone help me out? You don't need that much power unless one likes a lot of bass in their ride. In this case, you have 3 main options: 1. A Class D MONO amp that is stable at 1 ohm loads and can deliver a solid 600-800 watts RMS at 1 ohm. 2. The other option is to use a 2 channel amp and bridge it to MONO output and configure, (Wire) these subs for a net 4 ohm load. This style of amp is often more expensive and draws more current as well, to produce the desired power. 3. Again, a 2 channel amp, use one channel per sub, but wire the subs in stereo mode. That's 2 ohms per channel and safe for a majority of good amps on the market. The amp noted by kirchat is not 1 ohm stable. You cannot get 2 ohms from the sub pairing mentioned and bridging this amp is not rated correctly. This amp is not a quality product. If aftermarket, what is the make and model number? cplkittle on 02/26/2007 17:42:54 2 dual 4 ohm subs will only wire up to 1, 4, or 16 ohms. You need a quality 1 ohm stable amplifier that will produce somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 watts RMS. This would be a suitable choice: http://cgi.ebay.com/DIAMOND-AUDIO-D3-800-1-MONO-AMPLIFIER-800W-NEW-D3800-1_W0QQitemZ250088161529QQihZ015QQcategoryZ18797QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem What is the model number of the subs?
