Hey, I am trying to hook up my subs and have a factory radio....i got the output converter but is not working..I cut the RCA jacks in half and tried to hook it to a speaker in the car for power and hook it into the amp but it di dnto work....Does anybody know how to do this correctly....I have done it in 3 other cars but cannot remember how to do it this time....

The output converter will drop the voltage down to a level that is suitable for RCA input to the amplifier. It is not enough power to get a speaker to make any sound. I assume by output converter you are talking about a line output converter, also known as a LOC.
Can you tell us the model number of the LOC and how you had it connected? Also with a factory radio, what wire did you use for the remote wire for the amplifier?
