I would double check the ground, the main power and the switched power lines (black, yellow, and red respectively) first with a multimeter. Also check the fuses for the radio, which may be labeled radio, courtesty, or dome.
If all checks out ok, see if there is a reset button somewhere on or behind the face of the radio. It will be a very small inset button that can be pressed with a toothpick.

Hummm, you may have to go back in there with a DC volt meter or a 12 volt test probe and look for voltage on the Red & Yellow leads for the HU to ground. This needs to be probed at the HU main harness, not just the factory harness. Does the HU power up at all?

If that is OK, you may have a D.O.A. HU? This happens once in a while, even if new and out of a factory sealed box.

you need to check the constant as well as the switched wires with the key on and off(red and yellow wires).

Did you see any sparks during the install? Good time to check fuses.
