This is PowerLifter, for some odd reason its not letting me log in. Keeps giving me an incorrect Pw. I've tried sending myself the pw via the "forgot your log in or pw" promt but havent received anything yet. I've checked my email spam folder and filters and still nothin.
Any ideas?

Hummm, in all cases, I don't need to type in my PW. I just move the cursor back up to my log in name and hit enter. The rest is automatic.
That may be a unique feature for Golds and Admins, but not for all users.
Also, try again later and see if the problem persists. It might just be a server glitch that pops up once in a while?

Swez, it's not unique. you must have your 'save passwords' option on your computer.
Try deleting your cookies & temp internet files. I know it sounds ridiculous, but you'd be amazed at what sets these things off.
PS that shouldn't help, but it often does. Microsoft is buggy

Am pretty much up to date on all patches and I delete temp files often. When I delete the cookies from fav sites, have to log in all over again. But with a solid Anti-Vir and firewall, don't get too many alerts of worms, trojans and other bots.
What are you doing up so late dude? (Or just waking up very early?) It's what... 3:45 AM there now? (6:45 AM here in Detroit)
Dang mang... it's been like the ice box here the past week or so. After a very mild December and January, Old Man Winter has finally arrived in early February. Am getting a case of cabin fever the past 7-8 days and nights. YUCK!!!

Well, I still cant log in lol. I've tried it on 2 different computers and have cleared all cookies and temp internet files.
I'm stumped. I've tried every variation possible for my pw and still isnt taking.
any other ideas?
Im also not receiving any of the emails sent from the website. i've checked my spam folder and made sure the website wasnt under the blocked section of my email......
is there any possible way that Walt could reset my pw? Swez maybe later you can hop on yahoo and we can chat or somethin.

May I suggest you re-enter the board under a new name and password and see if that helps? It looks like that is what you have already done???
Were you a Gold or site contributor before? If yes, ask Walt in a PM to reinstate your status. Walt has been very busy of late and up to his eyeballs in computer program writing. So, it may take a while to get things back on track again.

Yah in order for me to post this topic I had to re-register under this name since I was unable to log in to my old one for some reason unbenounced to me.
I am a "Gold" member too so I'd like to get that lil medal again =). Can you send him a PM since I dont have access to forum mail anymore due to not being a "gold". I have also contributed in the past before Walt came out with the tag showing you were a contributor.
I'll be out of town tonight and tomorrow but I'm usually online on Yahoo later in the evening around 7PST. You might already be making some zZzZzZz by then hehe.

Hummm, I see a phone and IM chat coming in at the same time here fellas. I can do some degree of multi-tasking, but this tends to divide concentration and short-cut my focus to all parties. Prefer not to do too much of that for a good reason.
Well, we'll just wing it and take things on a first come, first serve basis. It looks like 8:00 PM EST or 5:00 PM PST will be about right as I see things now. Hope that's OK....

It all depends on the guests and their moooods. Have had a few conference calls go very well with 2-3 chatters... but more often then not, one guy moderates and the other two can barely hear each other.
Anywho, I don't think Mr. B uses YIM. He does have G-mail and chat, but I do not.
Well, I did get back sooner than expected, just pouring a fresh cup of Java and will be on YIM soon...
