Normally we refrain from giving out that information due to the liability issue. If you are installing this system in a boat, and you don't have brake wires, you can call Alpine and tell them that you need a bypass and they might recommend one. Or you can look at peripherial's website and see what they have.

there COULD be something on ebay that you can buy, with instructions............ But yes again anytime you ask an installer that and he is not a good personal freind, we will tuck our tail between our legs and reading off our companies liability clause verbatum in a rainman voice while rocking back and forth.

Wopner is on at 2, K-mart sucks, YEA........

I'm still not going to tell you, but I will give you a really good hint, and I'm not trying to be an ass about it.
Alpines are tricky, alot of them want you to engage the parking brake, hit the foot brake 3 times, rub your tummy and pat your head all at the same time. The parking brake connection is looking for a negative when the parking brake is engaged, the foot brake wire is looking for a positive.

This is from the owners manual:
To activate your auxiliary devices:
To watch a video source, your vehicle must be
parked with the ignition key in the ACC or ON
position. To do this, follow the procedure below.
1. Push the foot brake to bring your vehicle to a
complete stop at a safe location. Engage the
parking brake.
2. Keep pushing the foot brake and release the
parking brake once then engage it again.
3. While the parking brake is being engaged the
second time, release the foot brake.

I can not explain it in detail, but you can figure it out on your own.

The bypass modules are alot easier to use and they only cost $20-30. They will have detailed instructions on how to install them.
