I am completely novice at this sort of car audio. I am use to just installing speakers and after market head units with a wire harness. Howver my situation is different. I have a Pioneer AVX-P7000CD, and much much more... but for now only need help with installing this. I have the brain and everything else needed but just don't know where to start because it so different from regular head units. Anybody have installation (step-by-step) guide for the Pioneer AVX-P7000CD?

The best thing for you is to download the installation manual from pioneer's website. Print off the pages you need, and save the entire thing on your computer for reference.

you need to find a place for the brain first. Under the seat or sometimes in the dash is easiest, but I do not see you putting it in an s10 dash. Once you do that then you just need to plan on what wires to run, and how to rout them.
