Hey again! I have the (2) MA1200xl subs (600wRMS each, 4ohmDVC each, 1200wMAX each, being wired in parallel for 1ohm resistance) * THINK * First off is this the correct way to wire them to 1ohm? http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/graphics/infolib/carlib/subs/2_4ohmDVC_1ohm.gif * IDEA * Also, considering i wire to 1ohm, would these amplifiers work when matched with my subs?? AUDIOBAHN A12001DT ($329, 1200wRMS@1ohm) KENWOOD KAC-9152D ($179, 900wRMS@1ohm) MA HK2000d ($199, 1800wRMS@1ohm ) ( [The last time i bought a supposedly "1ohm stable" amp form MA it started on fire...] ) *If so, which would would be my best bet? *If not, what would you recomed? (I jsut did a quick ebay search and found these ones up for sale. I made my best judgment as to wheather or not their specs fit what i need PROUD) Aight i think thats all this time. All - terminals are wired as the return path grouping. Each amp mentioned is 1 ohm stable. The MA Audio is the strongest amp. (Also draws a lot of current at full power) The Kenwood is only 900 watts RMS @ 1 ohm. Bahn is the most expensive and probably the least reliable of the 3 mentioned. Also consider HiFonics as a solid option. This one matches your sub pairing very well: Hifonics BX1205D ($200.00) http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14803 Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
