What is Santa bringing you this year? As for myself, I want a memory foam bed and a didjeridoo. The diji is just to freak out the neighbors. Plus they have a really cool sound. http://www.didjshop.com/shop1/didgeridoo_list.php?type=Concert%20Learners Replies (8) ShootuhMcBustaCap on 12/16/2006 18:34:12 Yes!! That sounds awesome, totally something to freak out the neighbors! those things sound like pestilence and plague is coming. I'm hoping for some new gear. My sub is screwed, the tinsel lead broke again yesterday, so I have toe word out to the fam that I need new bumps. swez on 12/16/2006 20:39:01 Those digis are interesting alright... very odd woodwind drone to them huh? If you just want to freak out the neighbors, simply load this page to your MP3 player and save yourself the $400.00. Complete with "HOOT" tones at the end too. What a hoot! http://www.didjshop.com/shop1/didj_musical_keys.php Swez cplkittle on 12/16/2006 23:34:26 I found one on Ebay for around $200 shipped directly from southern australia. Check this out!!! ebay item 120063315278 A diji like this goes for over $1,000 from the shop I was looking to buy one from. swez on 12/17/2006 01:14:44 I have a very simple Christmas wish this year... peace of mind, rest for the body and a few close friends to talk to. See, my Mom passed away earlier this week. She was a vibrant 80 years old and went very unexpectedly. The best part, she suffered no pain or long-term disease issues. Her heart just stopped and they could not get her back. This week has been a blur of activity and grief management. Now, all we want as a family, is a chance to recoupe our energies, deal with the immediate matters and maybe take few days to get away and reflect and focus on honoring this woman I called Mom. Mom's 3 sons are on solid footing and we are holding up pretty well. However. My stepdad is lost, devestated and basically in the well of dispair. I may take him on a trip soon... just to get away and let him work out his deep loss. Their dreams, their plans and all they had look forward to as retiree's, has been torpedoed to the bottom of a deep sea. Thanks in advance for your kind thoughts, prayers and considerations, Swez PS Care for your parents while they are still with you. We did that and have no regrets that any words and deeds were left unsaid. It sure takes a big load off survivors, when we know there are no regrets or unfinished business. cplkittle on 12/17/2006 01:51:29 I am sorry for your loss, and your family will be in my prayers. I am really glad you were there for her long before she went. Many either don't want to, or just don't get a chance to say everything they want to say, or repay the kindness and generosity shown to us as they raised us. To tell them and show them your true appreciation of them is worth more than anything. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
