What would be a good amp(s) to hook up to two 12" MTX 7512's?? What about box??? http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwoofers/thunder7500.cfm Replies (5) cplkittle on 12/14/2006 20:06:59 http://www.mtx.com/Flash2/amps_subs8.html This is MTX's own sub to amp matchup chart. I would recommend a ported box like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/CAR-AUDIO-STEREO-1200-WATT-vented-12-SUBWOOFER-Box_W0QQitemZ180064009321QQihZ008QQcategoryZ14945QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ShootuhMcBustaCap on 12/14/2006 20:21:25 Those thunder 7512' offer about the highest low point in frequency response i think I have ever seen in car audio, 40hz-150hz sounds more like a home audio freq response. cplkittle on 12/14/2006 21:05:48 Actually, there are alot higher ratings. But we always ignore them by cutting them off with a LPF set around 70Hz. check these out... http://www.diamondaudio.com/products/index.cfm?page=productList&type=28&line=3&model= ShootuhMcBustaCap on 12/14/2006 21:29:20 I was referring to the bottom of the frequency response. Those Diamond subs would probably be what I would reccomend. Those D3 subs are dreamy. Wouldn't mind auditioning the D9 subs. The D9 componet sets were about the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Porkee113 on 12/14/2006 22:50:27 ok thnx Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
