Ran across a selection of Ambient music collections that can be very useful for testing SQ performance, staging and even low bass performance on SPL apps.
Just browse and see if you find them interesting or not.
Something Ambient: This will blow your mind in the dark at medium-high SPL levels.... good system demo test too

We can still listen to them for free and if one has an audio line out to am MP3 or similar recording device, I'd bet one can "capture" a few interesting cuts and burn/rip them too.
Dunno, but did find some cuts most interesting to listen too anyway and wanted to pass them on.

One track that I have always loved to listen to is by a world class mirambist, Evelyn Glennie. The track is entitled Michi for Miramba by Keiko Abe. This is a miramba solo with beautiful rich warm tones that are crisp and quick on the high end and deep and thick on the lows. When I saw her perform in person while I was in college, I sat there in awe. It was hypnotizing to say the least. She (Evelyn) was using 3 mallets in each hand. This chick was awesome.
