I am interested in putting something into a future car and i was wondering what all i'd need or what i should be looking, and worst of all saving up for. Try to be realistic about all this and we will help you pull things together when you are ready. The main part of the equation is how much do you wish to spend initially? Also consider what you believe you will need gear wise for the install. Things like: 1. HU (Stock radio or aftermarket upgrade) 2. Amplification (Full range and sub amps?) 3. Aftermarket speakers or stock 4. Sub(s) 5. Enclosure for subs 6. Wiring hardware needs (Based on power demand of amp's') 7. Electrical upgrades if you want a very strong system All these things are pretty much modular and can be bought in pieces as needed. (Budget permitting) One can do a lot with $500 - 800.00. However, some guys can easily spend $3,000.00 + too. It all depends on the power your new system will need, what brand are used, where you buy your gear and whether you install it yourself or have it done Professionally. Comments?
