I just posted about being able to detect distortion. Well Now I have another problem. I have been spending hours trying to do this and I cant get it right. This is getting so aggrovating. I when I turned the volume down from the test to listen to the music I could barely hear the sub at all. I'm getting so sick of this, Ive been staying up late at night trying how to figure out how to set this damn thing so it works. I'm about to just turn the bass boast and put on the equalizer on my HU untill the bass sounds good and low.
Does anyone know how much it will cost to take it in and have a pro set it for me. I'm losing sleep over this

It Is imperative to list full specs (model numbers) for all audio equipment related to this issue so golds can get a grasp on the task at hand and help you out.
Come back with amp model numbers, HU model and subs make and model and I'm sure you issue will be sorted out.

The problem with taking it to someone is that they may or may not know exactly what they are talking about, and 2 they probably won't let you back in the bay to walk you through it.
If you brought it to me I would probably show you how to do it and not charge you anything, but there aren't many 'me's out there.
Understanding your gear and how to operate it properly is the most important part of owning it.

Fortunately, most manuals out there are good at walking through the details of a given system setup process. Problem is... do people even bother to read them? Then again, some manuals are pretty hard to figure out for the average user. Especially if they use terms and tech jargon the user is not familiar with.
