Sometimes, you will find them on the driver's side where other wiring passes through to the inner cabin. There may be one on the passenger's side as well. If you find one, the look like rubber discs that can be removed to expose the flooring or rear dash panel inside the cabin. If you do find one, remove it and take a metal coat hanger and fish it through so you can spot it inside the cabin. Then, make an "X" cut in the boot and run your power wire through that and reinsert the boot. Then, seal it well with silicone adhesive, (RTV or similar) so it will not leak water later. If you cannot find and existing boot or access hole, a hole needs to be made in the firewall, so you can pass your wire and a grommet to keep out water. This might be best done by a Professional who knows this model well and has done a few successfully. Even if they charge $10.00 for a 10 minute job, it better than making a big mistake and drilling your own hole into some electrical/mechanical components not seen until it's too late and very expensive to repair. Swez PS "DO NOT RUN YOU WIRE THROUGH THE FENDER WELL AND INTO THE DOOR JAMB." I've seen guys do it before, but they run a risk of damaging their wire and shorting out the main power feed to ground and damaging many electrical devices in the dash. That can be a very expensive job that only a dealer can repair... A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR BILL!!! cplkittle on 11/24/2006 01:35:02 if the vehicle does not have a clutch, there should be a plug where a clutch would go through the firewall. Sometimes it is a bit high on the firewall, but is a good place. The easiest way to do it is to remove the plug, cut a hole slightly smaller than the power wire (if it is rubber) and feed the wire through then put the plug back in. This should give you a watertight seal.
