Some of you guys may remember me going back several months. Yes I was the inqusitive one asking opinions on bi-wiring compared to parallel wiring of comp speakers, midbass speaker options and placement, the effects of HU preamp voltage differences etc. You guys have been most helpful!

I have been researching, planning and saving to create my dream mobile audio system for over a year to date. One year ago I had little experience with installing mobile audio and found this site while trouble shooting amp voltage problems with a previous install. Swez seemed to always respond quickly and was extremelly helpful translating technical info into terms I understood.

By the end of Sept I had completed the planning and purchasing process of all audio equipment and was ready to start this thing. Swez offered to help me with a somewhat complex install on a personal level (which was what I needed to get this done). We used email and YIM chats and planned chats to tackle certain issues for each stage of the install.

Products installed to my 06 Magnum are Pioneer DEH-7800MP HU, Sirius SIR-PNR2 Satellite Radio Tuner, JL 1000/1, JL 300/2, JL A2150, a/d/s/ 346cs comps, CDT 69X comps with upgarded 560i crossover and TW-24 tweeter and the JL 12W7 in a tuned enclosure at 32Hz. Power and speaker wiring as well as RCAs all Knuconceptz and Streetwires combo distribution\ground block 4 input-output. A D-34/78 tellowtop finishes things off. Oh I also deadened the entire vehicle with Raamatt and ridiculously reinforced trunk area.

With the use of elaborate wiring diagrams and detailed explanations of how and why by Swez I finished the install with a set of amp cooling fans switched at the dash. I did need a little help for custom speaker mounting brackets for a/d/s/ comps. This system sounds INCREDIBLE and the only improvement would be the fabrication of speaker enclosures for the CDT 6x9s mounted in the rear trunk panels. I need a solid enclosure of MDF .4-.6cf to peak MB performance from those speakers.

It's been quite a while since my last post and I wanted to inform you guys of a sucessful install with the help of Swez. Thanks Swez I appreciate your hard work and your dedication to teach and patience (many obsticles on this one) throughout this project. Thanks again!
Demetrios

CLAP..... Swez has always been a great help to all coming to CK... If can do such a lot over chats and e-mail, i wonder how amazing he would fair if he guided you in the full install for real......or what if he did the install for you...

He's an ol' magician GRIN.....

Come to India man, we could do some real cool installs, for an amateur market like india,,,,,

By the way dave.. Gotta give you and all on CK some news..

I have started a custom fibreglass manufacturing workshop on a small scale..

Got a great guy who can do some real solid marketting,

Already chalked out plans for most selling cars, we shall be manufacturing door pods, dash units, enclosures sealed, ported and BP etc... shall be supplying to many dealers in the state. We are expecting a sale of atleast 10 pieces a day., projecting a monthly sale of anywhere between 300-500 units a month..

money wise , its taken $10,000 as investments in the property, equipments, labour and material. With the projected sale we should break even in a span of 4 months.

Didnt have time to be a lot on CK these days , cause was out researching, and looking for quality labour, material suppliers, meeting the dealers and distributors, and giving them info on the product.

Fibreglassing is not a widespread thing in indian car audio, its something new for the people here, and they would love having well made fibreglass enclosure instead of those "Common" wood ones...

Lets see how well we could fair here, need all your guys luck.. and yes wont forget thanking my ol'bro swez... hes been a great guide, friend and knows tooo well to inspire.. never met him till now , but would definitely make it a point to see you personally atleast once in life SMILE

Victor....

Indeed.... Good to hear your project is pretty much a wrap and sounds up to your expectations.

I might add that you sir, did a lot of excellent planning and gear purchases along the way. You also installed your own HU, Sirius Tuner and all amps and various hardware.

We shared lots of pics, diagrams and chatted regurlarly when moving from one step to the next. That helps a lot, when both parties are working off the same blueprints.

FYI: A teacher is only as effective as the student's ability to ask good questions, follow directions, be flexible and stretch as needed. This is why your project worked out so well Demet. We worked like a very good team and I'd love to have 50 clients like you.

Well done my friend and keep in touch as you can OK?

Victor: Sounds like your big plans are starting to take shape. Wonderful news!!! With all the business connections you have been making the past 18 months, this could make you a very busy and financially settled young man.

Moving to India and teaming up with your program sure sounds interesting. Obviously, there are lots of logistics involved and frankly, not sure what I could bring to your table, that is not already in the works. What kind of services/skills are missing that you feel I can fill?

Remember... I don't speak your native language either... hehe But that could change too.

Anyway, thanks for the Kuddos guys. It's been good to serve others here at CK for about 8 years now. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone and how technologies have changed in the past 5 years. Just keeping up with the new stuff, keeps this old man on his toes/

God bless you one and all,
Swez
