the plan is going well for the time being i'm waiting to find a good head unit for my car the problem now is my car factory stereo system comes with a tape and 5cd changer in the the dash with a Blaupunkt the problemi wanted to fint the same brand but it's very expensive and now i'm trying to search for a fine head unit so what do recomend coz my buget is a bit low ......... what do u think about the 2 din head units ? i'm between 3 choices (pioneer ,kenwood and panasonic ) - peugeot 307

A double Din is fine if you have the space for same. But as you already know, these tend to be more expensive then single Din units.
Personally, I would just save up and get a Pioneer HU of your choice or consider dropping to a single Din HU and add a 1 Din (1/2 Din) EQ later. Using a good faceplate kit is key here and I think ttocs may be able o help you a bit more on this stage of the game. See what he suggests.

It sounds like you're happy with the one you have, as you are looking into the same brand.
Have you tried looking at Visteon? They make really nice HUs for some Ford applications which are almost all double-din. They have multi-CD changers, MP3 capabilities, but keep a subtle look more like a stock HU.

i guess u asked me why do i change the factory HU ,the reason for that i need more sound quality for my stereo system i need 4ch's to be divided
and also need more functions and settings ....
so what do u guys advice me ??????

So your current HU is only 2 channels? I guess I'm not familiar with non-USA audio equipment, but that just seems odd to me. Oh well, I guess I must be getting too closed-minded lately. Time for another mind-altering spiritual awakening venture.

I don't know how much different the 307 is than the other Peugeot models, but here's a dash kit idea, if it would work for you.

well pretty much any alpine is worth it, they are one of the highest quality head unit makes there is, not sayin the rest of their equipment such as subs and amps are tho. im sure you will be happy with this cd player, plus mp3 what a bonus, i didnt really believe all the rave about mp3 until i got mine and its nice being able to put over 200 songs on one cd, i think you will be happy, good luck, i dont know much about it in particular but i know many ppl with alines and they are quite impressed.
