i have x2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1s in 1.27ft^3 sealed each.
right now being pushed with a P3001
im upgrading, they are SVC 4-Ohm and i need a Class-D MONO amp.
price range is around 300$
so far the best i could come up with is a Hifonics Brutus 1600 for around 260$.
any advice appreciated

(yes that is overpowering the subs to an extent, but its rated at 550watts at 4Ohm. when i upgrade subs in the next couple months i can re-wire them to 2Ohm (1100) or 1Ohm (1600) depending on the subs i choose... saves me buying a new amp)

These Perfect 12.1's are rated at 350 watts RMS per sub. A Class D amp rated at 600 - 800 RMS @ 2 ohms is a very good match for them.

The Infinity Reference 611a is a very good match for this sub pairing and if you shop it well, am sure you can find one for well under $300.00. Here are the features and general info for this amp:

I would not recommend an amp too much stronger than 750-800 watts RMS here. Only if you plan to get much stronger subs later. The HiFonics amps are pretty solid and many of the new generation Class D's can handle 1 ohm loads. However, when you get about 1200 watts (RMS) current draw is substantial and electrical upgrades are pretty much a given.
