Got any web links to this product line? I have not heard of them before and it's the first time it's been mentioned on CK to my recollection.

These guys?:

These subs have a lot of similarities to Resonant Engineering's sub offerings. That 3", edge wound, 8 layer VC technology is pretty efficient and commonly seen in high performance subs from RE and others. (The XXX series) Am sure they are not cheap either.

They seem like a spin off company from RE??? However, since their Tech site is down for server updates, hard to say what these subs are really capable of. That's pending too... Tech reports, T/S parameters and enclosure recommendations are all missing to date.

Personally, I would hold off for now and just wait for this company to mature and establish itself. Otherwise, you could place an order and wind up waiting til 2010 for delivery. I gotta believe this is a private label version of RE products. Or, they share some common supplier parts with RE???

RE has had its share of problems on delivery and communicating with customers in the past 12-18 months. If Fi goes through a similar learning curve, best to wait until they have been in business a while and offer off the shelf products that have proven themselves viable.

PS Just reading some of their forum notes. To be sure, this is an upstart operation and seems gear mostly to H.O. subs for SPL Comps and others who like to push the envelope hard.

Just check out their forum and see how the Fi guys respond to various questions and comments. It looks like a very small organization with minimal Tech Support for now. Track their progress for a while before dropping some "serious coins" on this product line.

thanks swez great help i notice a guy that goes by the name Meade916 on alot of other forums using there subs now he was using RE MTs 18" i think and he give the high marks do his name ring a bell and what you think of any of his projects from the past

That name does not ring a bell.. but if you have been tracking his comments and he knows what he's doing, ask him some Q's and see what feedback you get. There are some very talented guys out there I have yet to run across. However, there are also a lot of wanna-bees too. The trick is sorting out the wheat from the chaff and yes.... there's a lot of chaff out there too.

I looked Meade916 up and he has a few nice rides listed at Cardomain. Nice work here and this guy has a very good handle on doing it right for SPL installs. Have a look:
