Word indeed... "Don't get it twisted" has an interesting beat and some pretty shallow (low morals) messages too.

In the 60's, we had this thing called "Free Lovin". Basically, get what you want, all that you want and move on. "Don't get hung up on emotional bonding", just do [the act] and move along please. "We're just here for the moment", and when that moment is done, go away.
Well, that kind of behavior spawned a lot of unintended consequences. Now, we have AIDS, STD's, abortion and a debauched society. This message has been repeated over and over the past 4,000 years. It did not work then. It does not work now.
Women are not "boy toys" and men are not "girl toys". We don't just play with them until we get bored and then set them aside w/o major errosions of morals, self-indulgence and the lack of ability to learn what real "bonding" is all about.
I hate this type of message. It has major flaws and yes, it hurts the society as well. It's a lie, smells like smoke and comes straight from the pit of hell.
"Wake Up America" !!! We are not dogs. Even ducks, geese and swans are smart enough to know this message. They bond and mate for life as partners. Even when a mate dies, the remaining partner may wait several years before finding a new mate for life.
I guess you all know where I stand now huh? BTDT and know where it leads. Don't take that path as it will destroy in the end.

Yes, I may be an old fart on this one... but with good cause. "Consenting Adults" does not mean wise adults.
As Gary said, if he/she is hopping around with many partners and going unprotected, trouble is just a few fleeting moments away. Herpes and other STD's are rampant with this life style.
If said partner has AIDs, no condom will help. This virus is so small, it can easily pass through the pores in the condom and one now becomes a carrier w/o even knowing it for many years. Pass it on...
Ever gone to an Abortion clinic with a friend? I have... she got pregnant from a guy she had been dating only a few months and wound up prego. When he found out she was prego, he split and left her to deal with it on her own. This experience scarred her emotionally for life.
She was in much physical pain for days and the emotional trauma she went through, almost put her in the loony bin. She went through years of therapy and severe depression as a result of the abortion. Now, I ask the pointed question... "Was it really worth all that for 10 minutes of fun"?
FYI: I am actually pleased at the comments on this one so far. It shows that some young men are thinking with thier brains and not letting the "little head" dictate their actions.
