my jensen cdh 1000 keeps giving me error codes where can i find out what they mean Replies (2) jensen on 09/8/2006 13:32:24 2000 sunfire swez on 09/9/2006 09:56:27 Contact Jensen Tech Support and tell them your codes. They can tell you what they mean and what can be done about them. I was reading about Jensen's low budget players. Many report the "Er-4 code" within a few months to perhaps a year. If you have that code, it's the optical sensor that reads CD's. It fails to see the CD and the sensor has to be replaced. Since this a very low budget player, may I suggest you shop around for a better quality unit. The repair costs are probably more then the unit is worth. Use that cash to buy a decent HU... Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Blaupunkt or other well built brands. FYI: Jensen is not built with quality and longevity in mind. Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
