First, try switching the left and right rca's at the amp. If it switches the volume of the subs, I would first check the balance on your head unit. Is the fader set in the middle between Left and Right? Which subs are you using and how are they wired to your amp?

OK these are 4 ohm SVC subs. You need to wire 1 pair in parallel and use Channel A from amp to power them. Do the same setup for the other pair and use Channel B to power them. This is a 2 ohms stereo bass configuration.

Step 1: Your wiring should look like this diagram... but each channel has 1 pair of subs. The diagram shows 1 amp, 2 subs. In your case, look at it like 2 amps in one case, 2 subs per amp. (If the link is blurry, just hit refresh and it will come back clean.)

You may find one dead sub on the side that is not as loud. It could be as simple as a speaker wire came loose inside the box, a dead sub or that set was wired in series, instead of parallel. Any of these conditions would give the results mentioned. You can test these with just listening to each sub and determine if all are working properly.

Step 2: The other thing you can do, is swap amp speaker channels and see if the same subs are still weak or the suspect amp channel is weak. From there, troubleshooting gets easier.

A. If the same subs are weak, no matter which channel is power them, the subs are mis-wired or you have a bad sub.

B. If after swapping speaker wire sets, the other subs are now weaker, the amp is suspect (or weak RCA signal from HU) and some additional troubleshooting is needed.

That's enough info to get you looking in the right direction. Hope you can understand all that was mentioned. If not, just ask as we can break it down with more/less details to suit your level of experience.
