Can someone give me the wire colors for audio on an '01 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 Directwire is wrong, and I figure I can save myself some time just asking than testing each speaker indepedantly for phase. for reference, the left rear is tan/green and white/violet Replies (5) ttocs on 08/28/2006 15:24:43 does it have an infinity system? Does it say infinity on the grills? emoboywyl on 08/29/2006 00:51:06 Yeah, it was... we got it though... I found the info for the fronts, and the back right was right, the left was the same color as the right, so I just wired it the same. A little confusing there for a few. ttocs on 08/29/2006 10:26:48 did you get full sound out of it? if the original speakers are in there you will need to hit the remote turn on to get the woofer portion of the speakers to work. emoboywyl on 08/29/2006 11:25:28 yeah, it just took a few minutes longer than usual... but eventually we got it ttocs on 08/30/2006 11:15:19 FYI- I have also found alot of chrysler and jeep systems where the remote turn on from your deck will not have enough power to turn the amps on. Most of these amps only have 2 power wire consisting of a ground, and a switched posative that both supplies the power as well as turns it on. So when you hook up the remote turn on, it is trying to power the amp. This can easily be fixed by hooking the factory remote turn on to the +12v switched.
