What's your budget range. It's a lot easier to make recomendations once we have an idea of how much money you're looking to spend.

money is not really a problem

JL 1000/1 would be my top choice for your subs

These subs are rated at 750 watts RMS per each at full power. It would be best to use just 1 amp per sub, depending on which version you have. Which version do you have here? (4+4 DVC's or 2+2 DVC's)
Based on that info, we can look at amps.

Also, you're going to have severe power shortage problems here. An single strong amp (1500 watts RMS) will draw over 130 amperes of current to power both subs. The ZX1500.1 is a good choice if you have the 2+2 DVC's.

If you used smaller, dual amps like Kicker ZX750.1 is a good choice, if you have the 4+4 DVC's.

Major power upgrades are needed here too. (Ie: a 175-200 ampere H.O. ALT, heavy duty BAT and engine wire upgrades.

I just really like the JL amps, they're just so beautiful.

I can imagine the sheer joy of running 1/0g wire in your truck

That's what it going to take all right... 1/0 power line. And, plan on a amid/highs amp here too as this much Bass power will easily wipe out
mids & high unless amped well too. (75-100 RMS per channel/spkr.)

You said a heavy duty battery how big of a battery would I need for my truck.

Consider a Gel Cell type like the Optima Yellow Top. This is a deep cycle type BAT and it comes in several amperage ratings. An 800 -1000 CCA, (Cold Cranking Amps) rating would be very good.

The other low cost modification, is the Big 3 wiring upgrade.

If you follow these steps, the only other possible option for more power to feed your amps and vehicle, would be beefing up the ALT for more output.
