i finally got time to finish my radar detector install and re-painted it with flat black. I think I also found a set of wheels like I have been looking for in good shape, with tires for $500 shipped... Couldn't get the tires for that.......

"A little chilly at 10:00 AM.... 114 degrees"?) You must be nutz pal. Get out of the sun and heat as I think it's affecting you adversely. hehe

What is the typical humidity y'all get in that part of the desert?

The last time I played golf in Phoenix, (Many moons ago) the temps hovered around 110 -112 degrees. However, the RH% was like 10% and frankly, a light breeze, made it pretty comfortable to walk a 3.5 mile desert coarse. But, that was maybe 15 years ago... before all the developments came in and people started putting in irrigation systems to water their lawns, gardens and such.

At 115 degrees, 30% RH, that might feel pretty oppressive. "Who said there is no such thing as global warming"? From what is being around the US, it looks like this summer will go down as well above normal heat for this season. That mild winter and early spring was a definite tip-off huh? Does that mean another mild winter is coming? I sure hope so!
