i heard that if i put a 15.4" lcd monitor on my car it might make the ceiling collapse is that true?? Replies (4) UKinstaller on 08/9/2006 18:23:11 it's only true if you let some shmo that has no clue what he's doing do it. take it to a professional shop and have them do it and it won't be a problem at all. does your car have a sunroof?? if it does, there is definitely support beams behind it that you can easily screw the overhead into. if it doesn't, there either needs to be existing support beams, or if there is nothing to screw to, they will need to adhere a piece of wood to the roof to screw into. we use stuff called Permatex at work and it's like concrete. if it were a smaller overhead (typically 8 inches or less) you can simply screw the tv's to the headliner, but the big ones weight too much. so, the answer is no, it is perfectly fine on the headliner to attach a tv to it as long as it's done by someone who knows what they're doin'. -UK swez on 08/9/2006 19:22:10 UK, Can you shoot me a private e-mail?
