You're invited to join CareerBoard and Janice Worthington this Wednesday, July 26th, from 7 8 p.m. eastern time (EST). This month's topic of conversation: "Dreaded Interview Questions" Janice's Blog Careerboard.com 27600 "Chagrin" Blvd Suite 300 Cleveland, OH 44122 Hummm, sounds like this is one I will skip out on! It's tough enough to find decent employment in the Midwest right now. I don't think I can handle much more "splended news" from any business with a street address called "Chargrin Blvd." "Cagrin" meanings: Noun and/or verb in the wonderful world of "etymology" !!! (you can look that one up if you like) Chagrin: Disquietude or distress of mind caused by humiliation, disappointment, or failure Ill-humor; vexation; peevishness; fretfulness Anger at being let down: a feeling of vexation or humiliation due to disappointment about something (job hunting is the pits) humiliate, mortify, chagrin, humble, abase (cause to feel shame; hurt the pride of) "He was humiliated by his boss for criticising him in front of the entire staff." So much for irony statements today huh? Swez COFFEE SAD Replies (0) Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
