Hey guys. So I recently talked to Ohio Generators about getting a new alternator, but they said that I have to go through a licensed dealer. Do any of you know of some reputable companies that I can order a HO alternator from directly? Thanx.

Motor City Reman offers a number of good options as well and often cheaper then OG or Stinger. Give them a look and call them for details.

Thanks for the info Swez. I had already checked them a while back. Unfortunately, it is really hard to find companies that make high end products for Suzukis...

check around at localalternator shops. I found one local to my shop that builds 200A alternators for $275. I thought it was going to be a piece of junk, but looking at it beside my own stinger 200a alt, it was the EXACT same thing. I paid over $650 for my stinger, and I have used 3 of the local shop's alternators with no problem. They can even build one with a potentiometer so that you can adjust the output from 13.8 to 16 volts. It is automatically regulated as to when it kicks on and off, but you adjust the voltage. With a $30 nice LED voltage display, you are set.

I've tried contacting all the local shops down here. None of them will rewind them for high output.
