Hey whats up i'm about to purchase a Kicker Solo X 12 inch subwoofer that produces 2500 RMS wattage. Wat i need to know is what amp would i need to get for me to get the best bass out of my sub. As far as money spent, i'm not too concerned but cheaper is always better! Also do i need to be too concerned about how many ohms a sub has, i have no idea about that. And one more thing, I obviously want a subwoofer that seriously delivers some loud stuff, but besides the Kicker Solo X 2500 Watt RMS, I also saw Audiobahn Immortal Series 15 inch that produces 2250 Watts RMS.. What do i look for for the better sub besides money and RMS?

look away from audiobahn. I have seen more immortal subs blow than any others. plus they are very difficuly to wire properly (quad voice coils) yes, there are 4 voice coils.
Kicker solo x is in the same category as the JL W7's, the diamond D9 series, eclipse titanium, etc...
One kicker solo X should be plenty if not a dang good start.
Look for an amplifier that matches the RMS/Peak watts that the sub can handle, I would suggest the same brand if you are not familiar with other brands in the same category. or just ask us :)

Kicker's Zx-2500 will feed this beast. To get proper ohmic load matching with this amp, use the 1+1 DVC version. (Coils wired in series = 2 ohms)

The one thing you will have to contend with here, is a dedicated power source (a 2nd BAT) to give this amp the power it will demand. When you boom this baby hard, a stock electrical system will not cut it. This amp can draw short bursts of almost 300 amperes of current at full power. See manual:

This sub also has a field replaceable coil, cone and suspension system. Great for DB drags and such.
