i have a mono block fosgate 1001bd power series amplifier and it is causing a weird humming sound from my subwoofers. it sounds like a microphone too close to a speaker. i was just wondering what this is and how do i fix it?

The first logical step ie to be sire your amp and Source unit are well grounded to the chassis, floor pan or firewall. If you don't have a good grouning system here, the problem you are noting is very common.
What HU (Radio) are you using now? Stock or Aftermarket? (Make & model # is most helpful)
