i just got a AWIS12P AudioBahn Subwoofer and a new Pyle 3600 watt amp i am curious how to hook this up as the amp states it stable down to 1 ohm stereo what about 2 ohm mono?

Cuz if its brand new and you have the reciept, take it back and get your money back. Then go get a brand name amp.

read the post on the second page of the main forum, i was gonna buy a pyle amp and the people on here who know alot about car audio recommended me to not buy it.

Interesting.... this sub is a quad coil design, 2 ohms per coil. This sub can handle up to 2000 watts RMS from a 2 ohm load. (wiring configuration dependent)
Uhmmm, do you know how much current an amp of this size will draw at full power? (Over 150 amperes) That means major electrical upgrades here friend. H.O. ALT, HD BAT and a 1/0 wiring kit too.
Are you really willing to dish out that kind of $$$ for this much bass power?

well i work for a compnay that gets this stuff at wholesale so money is not a concern i am get a deep cycle battery and have planned to upgrade the alt...i am not dumb i have researched my sub and know that its 2000 RMS and 4000MAX and the amp (pyle) i have heard very good things about and know a few people who have this amp...i am also get a 2.5 farad cap to go along with it...

"I have heard" , that the moon is made of swiss cheeze too. SMILE But that does not mean it is true. It was proved otherwise in 1969, when the first US astronauts landed on it and brough back lunar soil samples.

well that came out wrong i was just saying but i understand where your coming from it could be a bad amp but you never know untill you try.....the most expensive part was the subwoofer out of this whole thing and now i'm just trying to get something that is stable for this sub and stable down to 1 ohm....the sub will be wired for 2 ohm but its always best to have something thats stable below what its wired for....i appreciate the info guys a really do otherwise i wouldn't be on this site....
