i am trying to custom a 12"vented box that is 17"H,42"L,9"W with the speaker factory specs of 2cu ft. with one 4"port 8"3/4long.

if you know all the dimensions what are you asking? tools and materials?

Not sure what you are asking here friend. Please clarify your plans.
1. Are you trying to turn a sealed box into a ported one?
2. The dimensions noted above, are they the external dimensions? If so, what is the thickness of the box materials used? (1/2", 5/8", 3/4" or other?)
