Swez brockstarr03 on 06/26/2006 18:01:59 why doesnt t he music come out of the amp... sorry i am learning... with everything hooked up the is no sound... when i unplug the power wire ther bass plays for a second swez on 06/27/2006 09:34:18 There are several factors that may cause this issue: 1. Gain settings on amp are set improperly (Try a softer gain setting) 2. The subs are too low in ohmic value for this amp (Rewire subs) 3. Amp is not getting enough power to remain functional 4. Damage to amp What amp and sub(s) are you using now? (Make and model #'s please) Also, what radio (HU = Head Unit = Music source) are you using here? Swez brockstarr03 on 06/27/2006 13:31:30 i dont got any other amp right now but i hooked up my old kenwood 4 channel and it played the subs. the subs are 2 10"Bazooka's they are 4 ohms and 325 watts max power. The amp is a mono channel class D amplifier but it has to speaker outputs. I dont understand why when i disconnect the power wire they play and it is to the beat. brockstarr03 on 06/27/2006 13:37:52 My HU is a Kenwood MP3/WMA two preouts 4V each The rear is variable between sub and rear speakers. I try playing with the gain settings did not work....as i read that in the forum archive that it might help. I cant understand why it would just stop playing music... and if i bring it to a tech is it fixable if it comes down to that ( Really Hope Not ) Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
