I need to know where I can find some kind of manual and/or schematics for my legacy amp. I also need to know the website for legacy if any. I have done several searches to no avail. any help would be greatly appreciated. Replies (5) swez on 06/25/2006 09:13:05 Which amp do you have here? Are you wanting to repair it or just figure out how to use it in the most efficient manner? Say more please, Swez raptor11 on 06/25/2006 10:10:31 it is a legacy series two LA 160 240w 4 channel. I need to know about the fuse port, there was no fuse in it when I got it. there is also an aux. port beside the + and - ports. what is the remote used for? swez on 06/25/2006 12:46:12 This is a very modest power amp. I would suggest a 20A fuse for this at minimum, no more than 25A's. The AUX ports are probably there to add a sub woofer amp to your system, without running sub RCA lines from the HU. The remote lead turn on the amplifier. Most aftermarket HU's have a REMote power turn on lead at the HU. Factory units do not. If you don't have a REMote turn on lead from the HU, you can install a line from the ACC/IGN line in the fuse panel, and run a wire back to the amp REM lug. Fuse that line at 1A. Swez ttocs on 06/25/2006 16:59:53 with having you ask these questions I have to ask if you are going to install it yourself? raptor11 on 06/25/2006 21:22:10 no I am not going to install it. but thanks for asking Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
