hey juys whats up i wanted your opinion on some brands. i got a catalog that i can order some stuff prety cheap but tell me what you think of these brands soundstream, quantum audio, kole audio, scosche, poweracoustik, swiss audio, distinct audio, soundstorm, db drive for either amps or for subs

what are you wanting to buy? There are some descent brands in the list but some are good at amps, and some are good at speakers.......

From our earlier chat today on YIM, it seems like you are leaning toward an SQL type system.
As for amps and subs to buy, we already discussed that in detail. Let's see what others have to say. My vote is Sound Stream subs and amps... all the way! They still make some very good products.

Personally I'm not too fond of that soundstream sub's specs for sound quality. The Qts seems a little high and is reminicent of current marketive trends for a robust sounding sub.

okay so dose any one have any experience with any other brand besides the soundstreams and db drive these have some territory limitations on them from this cattalog so i cant order them .bummer i was getting excited to use those sound streams. so any sudjestions

Do you know anyone in the designated territories they will ship to from that catalog? If yes, give them the $$$ and buy the gear for you and sent the gear to you.

Yes you do... most of the people on this board, live in different states. However, if you want to do buisness with them, it's all about trust and making solid connections with honest peeps. We have a lot of them on this site.

oh well see from what i understand i cant order because of the state that i live in so i would have to order from some one who has this magazine in an other state that is not restricted or pay reqular price aw that hurts my wallet. i couldent sell thes to some one in another state

What I meant was, find out what states this catalog will ship to. Then ask the guys on tis board if they will purchase and ship the products you want, to you.
The other option, do some careful shopping on the net and find what you want at a price that you can afford. E-bay sellers are usually well priced in auction or "Buy It Now" prices. However, look at the seller's performance rating and comments from past buyers. If the seller has lower than 98% positive feedback, best to avoid them.
What do you wish to do now?
