Ok...so I've got a 1999 Volvo C70. It has a factory amp and a really nice sounding system in it, about 400 watts through 10 speakers. But I bought a subwoofer (Power Acoustik Fubr-10 = 600 watts RMS) and a new amp, SPL ST4-960. I got a vented box and a good power kit for my amp. Is there any way I can use both the factory amp and aftermarket amp to power my system? I'd like to just use the factory for the speakers because they're already set up on it. And then the new amp will power just the subwoofer. The guy at the store said I would end up blowing my speakers in my car doing it that way. Why is that?
I might need someone to talk me through the installation. Thanks

that is probably not going to be an instalation that we can talk you through as vovlo's are not typically the easiest cars to work on. UK might be able to help but it is something that I would need to have in front of me to do...
