know im supposed to ask a question-
but today is a momumental day in my car audio career!
i beat kenny- the loud one at my school... but i "kinda" beat him... he is still louder- and i will give him that... but overall- my system has better SQ and hits MORE notes than his (the ones we both hit, he hits slightly louder, but i hit (almost) as hard with a greater variety of bass...
My System-
2 12.1 Infinity Kappa Perfect subs in 1.27cuft sealed each
and a P3001 RF Punch amp
His System-
2 P2 RF 12s in slot vented store bought box with an 1800watt Kenwood amp

the good part, at the end of the day i convinced him to let me build his new box... rock on to me...

(PS oh and i forgot to mention... what really convinced him was a test tone that started high and slowly dropped till you could feel it but not hear it... mine dropped nice and loud all the way, his died out about half way down (i think the store-bought box was tuned high or something... i donno)

congratulations brosuff. i remember what it was like in high school to have the loudest shove. i felt so cool. it really is a huge part of high schools around here, so to be involved in it itself was rewarding.

Off the topic but what CD do u use to test that? I'm trying to look for something to test my system. Something with highs, lows and both at the same time.

I picked up a "bass test" cd at my local Circuit City for like $3..It has 5 songs and is used to test your bass levels from supppppper lower and then parts where it hits really hard. Its techno stuff. But there are plenty of rap songs out there that hit hard.
