I finally got the radio and sat unit this morning just in time. After putting one in my stang(SMILE I love saying that) and one in my buddys truck today(with a sub and amp) I am wipped. Gonna go make sure everything is in my bag and ready to go. Mapquest says 1700 miles, gonna try and do it in two days but I am allowing an extra day in case we decide to make a few extra stops if we find something interesting. My brother has decided to take a little more then a week off and hang out with me for a while. It will be nice to have it be just the two of us for a change, hope we don't get caught doing anything we shouldn't......

Have a good trip ol boy! Check in when you make it home and enjoy the time spent with your brother!
Two guys sharing the wheel can manage 850 miles a day in under 15 hours of driving. (Weather and traffic permitting) Just try to take breaks every 3-4 hours to prevent "sitting-itus".

I am soooo stiff....
We got off to a late start thurs because we were not even down the street when his phone rang. It was a place that he had turned his resume into wanting an interview so we turned around and got him some better clothes and I dropped him off 30 minutes later. He said it went ok and they are supposed to call him. We drove from 12pm-12am and made it to elk city oklahoma before we found a room for the night. We took off the next day at 9am and made it to my house around 8:30. We took a shortcut and skipped flagstaff to enjoy some really twisty mountain roades SMILE. We passed the most time listening to sirius's comedy channel laughing until our faces were sore.
Now she is tucked away where she belongs in the garage it is time to get caught up on the house chores.....

Glad you have your dream car and got home in one piece too. Oh my aching back... that long of a drive is tough on body... just sitting in one position for so many hours, would put most in the hot tub for a few hours...

I have not been using the hot tub since I need to get a new cover for it. But I have recently been planning on firing it up since the new neighbor moved in. She can wear her hooters uniform or not, doesn't matter to me....

she is also talkin about having a house warming party and inviting all her friends from work........................... I am going to get a new cover for the hot tub this weekend as that is the only thing that is keeping me from using it.
