i have just bought a kicker comp 12 i would like to know what would be the best box and size

The best box and size will be according to your musical tastes and available amp output.
Can you give the exact model # so specs and recommendations can be looked up? Also, are you looking for sound quality or high output (SPL)?

Here's the manual for Kicker Comp series subs. You can go sealed for better power handling characteristics or, ported for more low end bump.
