I've got a regular cab sonoma and i did'nt feel like putting a wedge in ther so i built a box for the bed of the truck im cuttin through box/cab. the box I made is for four ten inch subs i bought cerwin vegas dual voice coil 200rms, i also have an ultimate 1200 watt amp (max) I decided to wire the speakers in parallel so i can get the full wattage out of the amp. It is a sealed box it turned out to 1.03 cu. ft. per sub finished manufactuer calls for 1 cu.ft. does this sound good to the experts i've never wired up so many subs to one amp. Replies (2) Victor on 05/26/2006 01:35:22 can you please give some detailed specs on the amp and sub other then the wattage.. if the sub is a DVC then is it a 4ohms dvc or a 2 ohmdvc...box size is determined by the T/S parameters of the subwoofer, a good manufacturer usually supplies this info along with the sub, if u dont have any try searchin on the internet,,, also gie us the model number of hte sub and amp..""""i also have an ultimate 1200 watt amp (max)"""" this does not mean anything to us.. we need specs.. is it a 2, 4 channel or a monoblock, what is the exact power ratings in rms values at different impedances mentioned by the manufacturer.. what is gain range, etc..etc..etc.. Please provide us authenticated and sufficient info so that we can help you better.. and please.. read this too.. http://www.clubknowledge.com/Car_Audio_FAQ/?g99_6 Hope it helps..
