I overlooked one thing on this here, I have an amplifier installed in my car but havent hooked up the speakers yet and it is a 2/4 channel amp and I only have one set of rca outputs on my HU so I want to know if that will onyl run the 2 channel and if so how do I make it a four channel capable with only 2 rca output jacks (1 Set) Replies (3) swez on 05/22/2006 09:52:40 If you want all 4 channels for speakers, a "Y" type patch cable will do the job. These can be found at Radio Shack, BB or CC. They have one female RCA and dual male RCA's on a pigtail. That will give you audio inputs for all 4 channels, from 1 pair of HU RCA's. They look like this: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102978&cp=2032058&pg=2&f=Taxonomy%2FRSK%2F2032058&categoryId=2032058&kwCatId=2032058&kw=audio+patch+cables&parentPage=search Depending on the speakers used, you can also bridge this amp down to a stronger, 2 channel amp. The lowest ohmic lead that is safe for this amp, would be 4 ohms per channel.
