Okay my pickup truck is eating me out of house and home, so Im thinking about going for a little better mileage. I've pretty much narrowed it down to a Scion Xb, because of the overall utility. I plan on pulling the main amp (US Acoustics USB 4065), the sub amp (Alpine MRP M350) and the speakers (JBL components & 3 ways). The Blaupunkt head unit I'll probably leave in the truck.
Has anyone done any work on one of these cars?
The base stereo in the Scion is a Pioneer head unit, I believe with mp3 capability.
First question: how good is it? Should i replace it or wire into it?
Next question, where is the best place for amps in this car?
