i have 2 12in mtx blue thunder subs, 4 ohm and a mono block alpine class d amp how do i wire in parallel and most importantly should i? Replies (3) ttocs on 08/4/2003 16:02:59 I think the alpine is 2 ohm mono stable, but check it out first to make sure. It may say 2 ohm stable on top, and they may mean 2 ohm stereo. If it is good, all you do is connect both +'s on the speaker together, and then to the amp, and do the same with the -'s. greg311 on 08/4/2003 16:07:01 its 700watts max, 350 rms at 2 ohm and 200 rms at 4 ohm Swez on 08/4/2003 17:27:21 Alpine Class D Mono amps are usually 2 ohms stable. Since it is a MONO amp, just wire as ttocs mentioned and should be good to go. Is this the amp you have now? Alpine MRP-350 Class D amp? http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-1dHVjLU07mX/ProdView.asp?s=0&cc=01&c=3&g=130&I=500MRPM350 If yes and you have a pair of 4 ohm subs... good to go!
