Joey,

We need the model numbers on subs and amp to help you out. Sony makes lots of subs.

As well as an idea of what other equipment is in the car now. Saterns are not hard and we can probably get you through it. How much experience do you have?

OK, are these the subs your have?

If yes, they are 4 ohm subs. Here, you wire one sub per channel in stereo mode. The amp seems to be rated at ~300 watts RMS/ch @ 4 ohms per channel. A good match. If the power ratings are accurate, I would expect a pair of 30 or 40A fuses on this amp model. Is that what you see?

Yes those are my subs and the amp has 40A fuses

OK, looks like you can anticipate a pretty good bump from this amp as wired the way that was mentioned before. Hope the subs can handle that much power.

Sony makes great TV's, Stereos, Walkman, Camera and other consumer electronics products. However, they do a very poor job at supporting Mobile Audio products. If they blow, just toss them and put some decent woffers in. Not worth the warranty paper they are written on, unless you bought them from Best Buy, Circuit City or other Big Box retail chain.

make sure the power wire is fused with in 12 inches of the battery and there is a grommet in the firewall.
