You need the cross-over ON and set to lowpass if it is selectable. Adjust the cross-over freq to what you think sounds good, for 12's you will probably be lookin at 60-80 hz.

I don't know what a line sound supressor is and I have been installin fer a while now.

it goes on the audio cords to filter out unwanted noise I have adjusted the crossover I have went from the lowest level to the highest level nothing helped. I think it might have fried the head unit the last time I got voices through the subs I replaced the head unit and the amp that was just like 3 weeks ago. If it is the head unit what could be causing them to fry. Is there a way to test the unit to see if it is the unit. or could it be the amp. I have the rockford p3001. I appricate the help

This amp has both Highpass and Lowpass filtering. You need to select lowpass filter on the amp and set it between 80-100 Hz. This will knock out all voices and such, leaving only bass and kick drum.

As for sub wiring, if the subs are 4 ohm, single coil subs, best you can do here is 1 sub per channel in 2 channel mode. If you had a single 4 ohm sub that could handle 300 Wrms, then you could bridge this amp to MONO for 300 + Wrms.
