So I purchased a new car, and I need to take the old head unit out of my 86 accord, its a clarion, just a standard size mount....Im not sure how to remove it though, do i need a special tool or can i use coathangers or something of the sort.

man, clarion radios are VERY hard to remove if you don't have clarion radio removal keys. stop by a local shop that carries clarion and see if you can get some keys to remove it. if you have them, it will be easy, but if you don't, you' will just have to stick something skinny in each side to pull the radio out.
