been trying to get everything working ok in the new chat room...unfortunately i seem to be the only person in there (kinda gets boring talking to myself). so i figured i would make this post to help people get in there.
if you already have IRC chat you just need to click on the link for the IRC CK Car Audio it will take you right to the room.
if you dont have IRC you can click on the All New Chat link. this will take you to another website and open up a java window (can be maximized just like a normal chat room).
both of these options take you to the same room.
when you get there you can type in /nick yournickname and it will give you that name (if it isnt registered with someone else on the server)
if you want to register your nick (if you will be there often) once you have you nickname just type /msg nickserv register pass email and it will give you a message saying you have registered
i have a bot in there that has a couple of games on it (trivia and word scramble) and i will be adding more once people start coming in there.
hope to see some people joining soon

Would like to chat with ya Lewis... however, am a bit new to this format and not sure how to use it correctly. Basically, I am lost on this concept, but do have YIM and Skype nicks.
Suggestions in layman's terms? Seriously, I am not as computer savvy as you are. So, go slow until I catch on OK?

well i leave it running all day so if anyone joins while im here i can try to answer any questions...(its not really that hard)
when you go in at first it will just give you a visitor nickname which will work until we get yours set
just wait a few minutes before you leave the chat because i dont always notice when someone joins right away
