i recently had a new 600w amp and 4 speakers (2-6x9 & 2-5" sony explod) put into my 04 honda accord sedan by a professional sales and installation shop. when i picked up the car and listened to the stereo i was shocked that the stereo sounded much worse than stock. it sounds like all treble no matter what adjustments you make. it is horrible to listen to. the shop added a 10" sub to add some base but i still don't think the stereo sounds that great. do i need to change the head unit to get better sound or is it possible that the shop just installed the system incorrectly.

Could be a poor install, poor choice of speakers or if using a stock HU (Radio) this too could be part of the problem.
Please list the make and model numbers of your speakers, amp and HU. Then we can see what options are possible here.
