Late last night, A GTO 300.1 amp and a GTO1204D sub (In a 1 cubic foot solid lovingly handmade box) were safely installed in my bro's wagon! It sounds mint, thanks guys for all your advice, it was a realitivly easy install, ( my bros a comp tech ) amp mounted in the back, behind one of the side panels that used to be storage, its low key as. I think that the sub does slightly over power the rest of the system, but i cant think of a better excuse for an upgrade. Did i mention that it sounds mint, JBL ROCKS! If you don't mind, why not take some pics and put up a link so we can see the fruits of your labor. If the sub's overpowering the rest of the system, until you upgrade the rest you could try cutting back on the amp's gain a little and maybe try a little different x-over tuning. That should help blend in the sub a little better at least until the rest is upgraded to be able to "unleash the beast". JMB on 04/10/2006 15:58:14 yes there has been plenty of fiddling w gains and x-over settings which thankfully can all be done at the head unit. I dont know how to make a link for photos, but im keen to learn. swez on 04/10/2006 17:24:55 Well done sir! Imagine that... JMB is a JBL fan? What's next in your quest? (Full range upgrades?)
