what is going on guys, just want to let ya all know that im still alive, just started a new job, and i dont wanna mess that up so im tryin to do my best there, and right now we are manditory four 12hour shift, and probably 6 on saturday, so thats why ive not been on lately... so god bless and take care fellas

Congratulations on the new job. Sounds like a brutal schedule, but watch the money pile up with all the O.T. pay. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam will have his fair share too.
That's a real bummer, but if you can get into a company matched 401K on pre-taxed dollars, I'd sock it away in that manner for now. Learn to live on a 40 hour paycheck and try to invest at least 10% when you can. That will establish a nice nest-egg later.

the time shouldnt be a problem its the negative 10 degree freezer im working in that may cause some issues lol... yea im still young but i guess i better start saving for later cuz im sure social security will prolly be long gone by that time or the age will be 80....

The way the clowns in Washington use funds to pay for their pet projects and such, I would not count on SSI to be much help if you are under 45 years old... maybe more???
Make your own nest now. Then you'll have a good egg in 20-30 years.
