Domestic parntner = shack mate = b/f. They all mean about the same thing. Not married, living in a shared domicile, she gets pissed at him and puts her foot on his head as he tries to climb the ladder to a higher rank in the MSP FD.
Hearings pending, wonder what the gory details will look like if this goes public later?
My guess, she'll get reprimanded and he'll leave the MSP FD and try to pick up the pieces elsewhere Or, she'll get demoted or fired, he get's promoted and now he can stick his #12 boot on her head for a while. That would be a great turn-a-round story line eh? Revenge can be soooo sweet at times.

This is NUTZ!
The pay is good, but the "French Benefits" are outright stupid. A Fire Chief gets paid >$100,000.00/yr., a company vehicle and allowed to perp domestic violence on her room mate? (Domestic partner) Only in MSP and San Francisco I would bet!
